Next Up Ottawa welcomes you to: “Rethinking Canada's 150: Human Library and Arts Showcase", a mashup event to bring alternative discourses to the mainstream narrative of Canada’s 150th anniversary. Artists and human library "books" will share stories on issues such as migrant justice and decolonization.
This is a FREE event. Everyone is welcome. Snacks will be served.

Next Up (http://www.nextup.ca/) is a leadership program for young people committed to environmental and social justice. Now in its 10th year, Next Up offers its 7-month training program to cohorts in 7 cities across Canada annually. Our network of social change leaders is constantly growing with more than 550 graduates of the program so far. Our alumni continue to create a better world across sectors and issues ranging from labour, politics and academia, to arts, service and grassroots activism.
