We are so proud of Next Up's very own Darcy Vermeulen for winning the BC/Alberta regional Notable Award for the National Arts and Culture category!

Darcy, a current NU participant in Vancouver, has gotten serious attention for his work in providing strategic advice to dozens of arts and cultural organizations in Vancouver, in his role as Sponsorship and Event Lead with the Downtown Vancouver Business Improvement Association.

The Notable Awards are organized by notable.ca, a national online website for young professionals. Notable.ca helps YPs take "their professional and social lives to the next level." We're confident Darcy's excellent community work, combined with his alluring swagger, grabbed their attention.
