Register now for Calgary's 4th Annual Community Connection.

Next Up Calgary invites you to the 4th annual Community Connections held on Treaty 7 land, the traditional territory of the Blackfoot, Tsuu T'ina and Stoney Nations, shared with the Metis people and the settler people of southern Alberta. Join us as we come together to align allies at the intersections of activism to build vibrant communities! Learn about exciting community initiatives in our city, foster connections with individuals who share your passions and discover the unique impact that you can have in shaping the world around you.

#CCYYC4 will be at the CommunityWise Resource Center at 223 12 AVe SW, Calgary. Doors open at 9 am. Programming will start at 10 am. and wind up at 4:30. You will require a prepurchased ticket to attend.

 

The day includes workshops (Science & Empathy, Sauerkraut, and Social Justice, Transgender Advocacy and Star Ecoworks), the marketplace of ideas, a world cafe and collaborative art installations. A buffet lunch is included and will have options for folks that have diet restrictions. Be sure to list yours when registering.

  

To attend and participate you must register through communityconnectionyyc.ca.  If the $5 fee is a barrier to attending, please reply to this email, and we will set you up with a complimentary ticket.
