Next Up Saskatchewan, The Stand Community Organizing Centre & Stop the Cuts Present:
Anti-Oppression Training
Facilitated by Annie Battiste and Carolyn Doi. During this workshop, we will discuss anti-oppressive principles and practices through an intersectional lens. Conversation will focus on an exploration of power structures, the fluidity of
social location, and the influence of power, privilege, oppression, and marginalization within our diverse community. We will develop concrete and practical strategies and practices that can be used to develop inclusive, accessible, and sustainable practices for community organizers.
This workshop is free, but donations are gratefully accepted.
