Alberta Narratives Project

The Alberta Narratives Project is a new approach to public engagement that builds skills and better communications. Our goal is to uncover the language and stories that reflect the shared values and identities of Albertans, and to find ways of talking about climate change and energy that cross boundaries and build bridges to conversations.

You are invited to complete the registration form below to indicate your interest in participating in a two hour focus group. All registrants will be acknowledged by email, though we may not have the space to include everyone in a focus group.

What you are signing up for:

- a two hour focus group that will have 10 people and two focus group leaders

- your participation will be anonymous

- the results of your group, and the 50 other groups that are also being run, will be shared for public use.

- Food, child / family care and travel assistance will be available to support your participation.

The number, date and location for the focus groups has not been finalized. One will be in Edmonton. If we hold a more focus groups, they will be at locations that are easily accessible to the majority of that group's participants. All groups will be held in the daytime on a weekend.
